How can you tell if someone is telling you the truth?

It has been mind-boggling that I cannot determine if someone is telling the truth or not. I was being cheated a couple of times. This is the moment caught off guard. How can we determine if someone is being truthful to us?

For this days, it's not easy to tell if a person is telling the truth. You can sense if a person is true by their action or their behaviors. You use your instincts to see one persons personality.

You can tell if someone is lying by there actions. As the saying goes, the eyes is the window of the soul. If a person can't look at you straight into your eyes then he definitely is telling a lie

You described it well. I also agree that we can determine the truth if this person stammers when talking and cannot look at our eyes. They tend to have alibis that cannot be justified by him or her. Sometimes they are defensive, too.

Some people are very good at lying and can look you straight in the eye without flinching so it is hard to tell. I have believed people who lied in the past. However most people do give out tell tale signs. They often cannot make eye contact or they might look a bit shifty.

I ask more questions to the intent of finding the truth. I investigate the premise for myself. If it's an opinion of theirs, I'll jus leave it at that and arrive to my fact-based conclusion and solution to the problem.

I always try to find out if someone is telling the truth by looking them in the eyes and reading their body gestures. The eyes is the mirror of the soul and their behavior says it all.

If someone is telling truth we can tell by their actions . They won't be scared . But if someone lies he/she will be afraid of being caught and will think before saying anything.

Some people act like born liers. It could be a little hard but not impossible. If you are intuitive, certain gestures, vibes and body language would tell you the truth or even a hint that they are lying.

There are people who are good at lying and it seems to be the truth only to realize that they are just malicious lies. A person who lies won't look straight to your eyes and will give too much unnecessary details.

You can tell it by there actions and when they talk, they cannot look straight into your eyes while they are telling their stories. Once you asked for a question, they either  stutter or feel  uneasy. We should  take  consideration of the phrase that "Eyes  are  windows to the soul." All, we  need  to do  is  to look straight at them and if they cannot  reciprocate it, then it is an indication  that they are  lying.

Although liars were so expert in hiding feelings and covering up the truth, others actions are still obvious according to what are they doing. Like for example the eye contact and the hand gestures that they're talking about. Most of all, If you tell lie, it is seen through their movement because they look so terrified.

I have learned to read people. Use the lie detector technique. In the beginning of all relationships, people tend to be really honest. Watch their facial reaction,thier body movements, when somebody lies, those reaction change.i noticed that my partner had a habbit of smiling at the corner of his mouth when he lied. All the time. He couldn't lie with a serious face. He doesn't know I know that, he just liked to ask me how I knew he would be lying, I just said, instinct.

Many people say that if the person can't see you directly in the eyes, this means they are not telling the truth. This is one of the practices I know. If they are doing things that are not directly from the person's heart sometimes you will feel doubts. They are not confident to say or do what needs to be done. Most likely you will find it out from other sources that someone is cheating on you.

Personally speaking, I can feel it when looking at their eyes and behaviors. The eyes tend to be not fixated by looking at us. The behaviors are unusual when being confronted.

Well knowing if a person is telling the truth or not is very difficult because we can't read their minds but they are signs we should watch out for to know if someone is telling the truth or not  for example blinking of eyes, not looking in to your eyes,and shaky voices can tell person is not telling the truth.
