Do you? It's natural instinct to be a critical-thinker about everything we hear, see, read and study of interest.

Rationally disagreeing about a particular subject of debate is healthy.  Dumbing down by silencing and maligning people with 35+ years evidence-based differing views is a sad loss to close-minded people who do not have 35+years of study and proven experiences.

So, do you question "generally accepted theory of belief" and those that claim authority for these beliefs?

It does need to question things up. We can give our own opinions to others. However, they are still the ones who will have the final decision. Some people may claim that they are more knowledgeable based on their years of existence in this world. Despite this, it does not mean that they are perfect in deciding for themselves. Sometimes pride makes them like this.

For some occasions, they are defensive when knowing the ugly truth. The truth that cannot accept. Moreover, they still need to know what is right or wrong. We can just respect them and let them have a sweet time to realize it. Humans are not the same in thinking because we are created with uniqueness. Speaking of our God, he never questioned us. He is just there to guide us spiritually.

Some fault finders are aggressive in nature, especially if they have power or authority. For instance, a boss needs to be a fault finder to attain the company's mission or goals. The subordinates will be feeling differently, but they still need to respect him for being a fault finder. The bottom line is that this boss is doing what he thinks is right for his subordinates.

Depends on my condition. If I can question the authority and can get away from the wrath of it. Then yes I do as much as possible. But not to the extent where they can take my life and get away with it easily. So I draw the line knowing the pros and the cons. It's just a matter of time when that happens.

Yes. I do question "generally accepted theory" and "authority" in the context of belief. However, I also question the "generally accepted theory" of belief when it comes to the topic of climate change.
