You need to make sure you have a healthy diet with plenty of fibre. Lots of fruit and vegetables will stimulate a lazy bowel and drink plenty of fluids. Some breakfast cereals containing bran can also help. Try to exercise regularly too. When I was younger I didn't eat well and suffered from constipation. After I had children I started to cook properly so now I am never bothered by constipation.

It should be noted that some people do not have a bowel movement every day and this doesn't mean they are constipated but it is just normal for that person but if you feel sluggish and unwell you probably are constipated.

You can buy laxatives at the chemist if you really feel bunged up but these should not be used on a regular basis as they can make the bowel sluggish. If you feel you are doing all the right things and it is still not working then see a doctor to find out if he can help as it is not good for toxins to build up in the body.

If I disturb from chronic constipation I immediately take lemon water because citrus foods contain a good amount of vitamins and nutrients which maintain the body balance. Vitamin C rich water adds to the proper digestion which further improves the digestive track in your body. Hence, drink up a glass full of fresh lemon juice everyday to avoid any kind of constipation trouble.

If it is chronic constipation, the best course of action is to consult a doctor. In the meantime, you need to eat fruits with a lot of fiber. Some people claimed that eating papaya fruit or prunes can help people who have this condition.

Treatment for chronic constipation usually begins with diet and lifestyle changes meant to increase the speed at which stool moves through the intestines.  Treatment may include foods high in fiber, non-stimulant laxatives, stimulant laxatives, enemas, suppositories, biofeedback training, and prescription medications.

Constipation is a condition in which you may have fewer than three bowel movements a week. Eating foods low in fiber causes of that constipation, dehydration, and not enough exercise. To treat constipation make sure to drink 8 glasses of water, especially in the morning, eat fruits, vegetables and oatmeals to consume enough fiber, and exercise every day.

To cure chronic constipation permanently, it's important to address the underlying cause, such as poor diet, lack of exercise, medication side effects, or medical conditions. Eating a high-fiber diet, staying hydrated, exercising regularly, managing stress, and maintaining good bowel habits can also help prevent constipation. It's important to consult a healthcare professional if constipation persists or worsens.

Chronic constipation can be a frustrating and uncomfortable condition. While there is no guaranteed permanent cure for chronic constipation, there are many things you can do to manage and alleviate the symptoms. Here are some suggestions:

Increase fiber intake: Eating more fiber-rich foods can help add bulk to your stool and make it easier to pass. Some high-fiber foods include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, and nuts.

Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water can help soften your stool and make it easier to pass. Try to drink at least 8 cups of water a day.

Exercise regularly: Regular physical activity can help keep your digestive system running smoothly. Try to get at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week.

Establish a regular bathroom routine: Try to go to the bathroom at the same time every day. This can help train your body to have regular bowel movements.

Consider laxatives: If other treatments don't work, your doctor may recommend a laxative to help you pass stool more easily. There are many different types of laxatives, so it's important to talk to your doctor about which one is right for you.

Seek medical attention: If your chronic constipation is severe or accompanied by other symptoms, it's important to see your doctor. They may be able to identify an underlying medical condition that is causing your symptoms.

It's important to note that some people may require ongoing treatment to manage chronic constipation. Talk to your doctor about the best treatment plan for you

  1. Pain Management: Pain management techniques, such as heat therapy, over-the-counter pain relievers, and relaxation techniques, can be helpful in managing pain associated with endometriosis.

  2. Alternative Therapies: Some individuals find relief from complementary therapies like acupuncture, dietary changes, and herbal supplements. However, the effectiveness of these approaches varies and should be discussed with a healthcare provider.
