When I was a child, I love drinking milk. I had it every breakfast until high school days. However, when I reach my university, things hand changed. My tummy cannot withstand having milk in my system. It was the time that I realized that I am having lactose intolerance.

It is quite deep to comprehend this. But I got the point that we need the lactase enzyme to digest the food. I am not sure if it is an irreversible medical condition. Hopefully, I can drink pure glasses of milk because I still need proteins in my system.

Here's a survey of data researched around the world on lactose intolerance from reputable Weston A. Price Foundation.

You know we, "the experts" have tampered how real pure unpasteurized milk depleting all powerful nutrients such as enzymes fortifying our gut, therefore, lactose intolerance?

One of my friends claimed that having lactose intolerance is secondary to a lack of irons in the body. I am quite skeptical about this explanation from her. Thank you for sharing this information. I will check the result of the survey.

Too little of an enzyme produced in your small intestine (lactase) is usually responsible for lactose intolerance. You can have low levels of lactase and still be able to digest milk products. But if your levels are too low you become lactose intolerant, leading to symptoms after you eat or drink dairy.

Most people with lactose intolerance can manage the condition without having to give up all dairy foods.

I heard that it is possible to have milk without worrying about lactose intolerance. They just need to consume food rich in irons. Or, they can have supplements to increase the iron level in their bodies.

Lactose intolerance occurs when the small intestine doesn't produce enough of an enzyme (lactase) to digest milk sugar (lactose). Normally, lactase turns milk sugar into two simple sugars (glucose and galactose) which are absorbed into the bloodstream through the intestinal lining.

Your body's insufficient lactase production is typically the cause of lactose intolerance. Your small intestine ordinarily produces lactase, an enzyme that is a protein that triggers a chemical reaction that is needed to break down lactose.

Lactose intolerance occurs when the body is unable to fully digest lactose, a sugar found in milk and dairy products, due to low levels of lactase enzyme.
