Yes they do. However none of them have died in this part of the world. So it seems like they have stronger immunity. It all depends on immunity as this virus is more stronger on the people with low immunity.

Last Friday, a cat in the Spanish region of Catalonia tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the sixth feline to be detected with the disease globally.

There are few known COVID-19 infections of pets globally. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, one cat in Hong Kong tested positive without displaying symptoms, while a cat in Belgium recovered nine days after falling ill.

Five tigers and three lions at the Bronx Zoo in New York have also tested positive for COVID-19, including one tiger who even developed a cough, according to the Wildlife Conservation Society, a non-profit organization which runs the zoo.

Yes of course.Animals can be surely affected by Covid-19.Actually the origin of Covid-19 was also from an animal;likely to be a Bat.

Cats and Dogs are the most endagered types when it comes to Covid-19.Some of the other mammals are also being affected by it in the recent days.So we should take good care of our pets and treat them equally as how we treat human.

Some experts claimed that domestic animals can be affected by this COVID-19. The sad part is how can the owners save them. Moreover, there are no facilities to cater to their needs once being infected with this virus. It will be a sad moment if the pet owners will just let them die. They are still a member of the family.

Is there any report of domestic animals getting COVID-19, if yes in this case do they get the same treatment as humans, and are they are kept in isolation?
more_vert
Yes there have reported cases of animals dying of Covid 19, remember COVID is a virus which was first found in bats and was transmitted to humans, so it can be vice versa.  And some animals do also show symptoms of the disease.

In view of the accessible data to date, the danger of creatures spreading COVID-19 to individuals is viewed as low. As of now, there is no proof that creatures assume a critical part in spreading SARS-CoV-2, the infection that causes COVID-19 to individuals

Yes, some animals can get infected with COVID-19, including domestic cats, dogs, and some wild animals in captivity. However, the risk of transmission from animals to humans is low, and pets can be protected by following basic hygiene measures.
