yes, i believe that love cannot be forced even you loved him/ her so much. They will never appreciate the things that you have done even how much you loved them. So just, stay away and forget. Move on and be happy.

Loving each other should be mutual feelings. We cannot force ourselves to love someone if there is no feeling at all. Besides the point, it will not work out. If it happens, bought the couple will regret having a relationship in the first place.
