You can buy several types of diarrhea drugs without a prescription: bismuth subsalicylate (Pepto-Bismol, Kaopectate) and loperamide (Imodium). These medicines can help slow or stop loose, watery stools. But you shouldn't take them for very long.

I commonly use 'Immodium.' Is this drug available at your place? If you have this medicine, you can take two capsules to be effective. Some experts claimed that it is fine to have loss bowel moment for three days and more than this, it needs to consult a doctor.

There are 2 preferred medications for diarrhea-

Loperamide (Imodium) which slows the movement of food through your intestines which in turn lets your body absorb more liquid.

And the second is Bismuth subsalicylate which balances out how fluid moves through your digestive tract.

Both medications are equally powerful but i would suggest to not take them without the consultation of the doctor.

There are several drugs to treat diarrhea, including loperamide, bismuth subsalicylate, and antibiotics in certain cases. However, it's important to consult a doctor before taking any medication, especially if you have other health conditions or are taking other medications. Additionally, staying hydrated with fluids and electrolytes is crucial in managing diarrhea.
