Although some shark do lay eggs yet they are not regarded as mammal. Sharks belongs to the family of fish because they have gills and fins for breathing and swimming respectively. Mammals are vertebrate which have hair and glands for feeding their young.

Sharks don't feed their young with milk, and therefore aren't mammals. Other characteristics that all mammals share include being warm-blooded and having hair. The scientific term for a warm-blooded animal is endotherm. Sharks are cold-blooded.

Neither of the two is right. Sharks are considered fish. They are not the same as a blue whale, which is a mammal-like human. The breathe longer in the deep see through their gills.

Sharks are not mammals. They are a species of fish. Sharks gave a skeleton that is entirely composed of cartilage and is equipped with leathery, tough and scale less skin. These skeletons differ greatly from those of the bony fish

No, sharks are not mammal animal they are the species of fish. Great white sharks is the most dangerous among all sharks because they search their prey at the surface of the ocean while swimming below.

A shark's body is composed almost completely of cartilage. Their skin is tough and leathery with no scales. They are a species of fish, not mammals.

No, though its physic is like dolphin or whale, they're sea creature that breath with gill, so shark is fish and lay their eggs. For whale and dolphin they're mammal because they feed mil to their babies.

Erm sharks are basically classified as fish not mammals, they use gills to breathe underwater rather than lungs, They do not feed their young or have any mammal glands.

Mammals one characteristic thay have mammary glands which produce milk for feeding their young ones during their early life. Sharks have scales, gills for gaseous exchange and do lay eggs hence they are not mammals. The only egg lying mammal is the duck biled platypus.

No shark is not a mamle. It is a fish. They have gills for breathing and lay eggs. The exempel of a Marin mamel would be a dolphin. They breath with modified lungs and give birth to living baby's.

The first question to ask ourselves what mammals are. There are common characteristics that qualify an animal to be a mammal. Hair or fur, mammary glands and give birth to their young ones alive are some common known characteristics of mammals. A shark does not meet all the characteristics, they are not warm-blooded and they use gills for gaseous exchange. They feed on small fish and that makes them carnivores.

Sharks are considered as mammals but they are not mammals. Regardless of their viviparous nature, they lack many characters of mammals like lack of hairs and milk production. They are truly cartilagenous fishes because their skeleton is made up of cartilage instead of bones found in other fishes.

Sharks are fish, even though some people believe they are mammals due to how big some of them can get and because some give birth to live young. Fish are aquatic animals that were among the first vertebrates (animals with a backbone) to evolve on earth.

No, sharks are not mammals. They are actually a type of fish called elasmobranchs, which are cartilaginous fish. This means that they have skeletons made of cartilage rather than bone. Unlike mammals, sharks do not give birth to live young or nurse their young with milk. Instead, they lay eggs or give birth to live young that are already fully developed. While they may look similar to mammals in some ways, sharks are very different in terms of their anatomy and life cycle. So, while sharks are amazing and fascinating creatures, they are not mammals.
