So, with Flash dying, I'm planning to popularize Godot Engine for game development with reboots of old Flash games. So, I want to know the differences between GDScript (Godot) and ActionScript (Flash). Is it even possible to "translate" (read)?
GDScript has been the official language of Godot for a long time and it is more stable, C# on the other hand gives you the ability to use all features available in . Net framework / Mono But since C# is new to Godot, it has a Lot of issues and bugs.
GDScript and ActionScript have different syntaxes as they are used in different game engines (Godot vs Adobe Flash). While they share some similarities, GDScript uses Python-like syntax while ActionScript uses a syntax more similar to JavaScript.
