I read about the elephants in the wild. I was surprised that the oldest mother elephant leads the heard of the elephants. For humans, is it fine the women should lead the family instead of the men?

People are born with different treads and personality, they are people gifted with leadership quality and such people irrespective of gender can lead the family. Today we have women who are leaders in their official work also managing the family, that does not displace the partner but gives the opportunity for the partner to support.

It means that they are accepting gender equality now. Unlike before, some people cannot accept this.

I'm the one who leads my family. I am the one who is in-charge of everything in the household. There are many responsibilities to take charge so you must be more careful in doing some action.

I do think that we need to be accurate as possible in taking good care of the family. Is it difficult to be the head of the family?

Phil: It's a privilege that comes with a lot of responsibility. Most men believe that being a good provider means supporting a family financially. It means much more than that. A man should also contribute to the emotional, spiritual, physical and mental well-being of his family.

The described man that you mentioned is a typical practice in the past. In my country, most elders believe in this way of thinking. However, the new generation has been accepting gender equality. It means both couples can do things in the family equally.

A dominant male is someone who's capable of taking the lead, defending his territory, and doing all he can to provide for his family. It means being assertive and commanding, rather than a yes man.

It sounds like you are not open to 'gender equality.' I must say during the old days, men are responsible for being a provider in the family. Nowadays, things had changed. Some men allow their wives to work and help out in providing money or the basic needs of their families.

It is also the same thing in my family. The head of the family was my father. Since both my biological parents died, I am taking the lead in being the eldest in the family.

I think the father is that person who lead aur family because many of the responsibility he have and he try to give our best to family because father is the most important person without father I think we can't enjoy our life. He do everything for our family.

Thanks

It is also the same thing in the Philippines. The majority of the heads in the family are the fathers.

In my family, the oldest usually leads. It cannot be broken. If the head of the family died, the next line is the oldest in the family, which is happening with me right now.

At some point, the woman leads the family since the men are always out to work for the family. Before my dad and mom does it equally. Both of my parents work but the rest of the house responsibilities my mom does if my dad is away. But when my late dad passed away my mom become leads the family as a single parent.

I guess it's me although I am the son. My parents are helping me to make life decisions and they're still correcting me if I make a mistake and I still respect them. I noticed that it may help you to be matured if you suggest in your family members and if it's proven good, you'll earn their trust
