I am not delicate before sleeping. The only thing that I do is to watch on Youtube at the side of my bed and fell asleep. I just let it continue to play. I know it is not a good habit.

How about you, guys?

Are there any good or bad habits before sleeping?

The best time to eat dinner is 3 hours before bedtime, allowing the stomach to properly digest and focus on preparing for sleep when bedtime rolls around the corner. Eating small amounts of foods like complex carbs, fruits, veggies, or a small amount of protein will satiate hunger pains and help you fall asleep faster.

That's a great tip for those people who are planning to lose their weight. I always believed that midnight snack is not a good eating habit.

Yes of course there are some good etiquettes to be followed before going to bed. Such as fresh up, dust your bed, and think what good you have done today so that it may help you to sleep with peace

Good habit before going to bed includes, eating on time before bedtime, this allows time for digestion, bad habits includes eating late, and not going to bed immediately, when the body is up it gives room for metabolism to take place. Another good habit is drinking water to aid stomach activities.

It is commendable not to eat before sleeping. It will lead to obesity so to speak. I hope people who always have midnight snacks will realize this.

I sometimes do these things mentioned, but I prefer watching video clips on YouTube. Since I am always dead tired, I sometimes release the tensions by writing here and there.

I can tell you some good and bad habits that people may have before going to bed.

Good habits that can help you sleep better and wake up refreshed include:

Establishing a bedtime routine that involves winding down activities like reading, taking a bath, or meditating.

Avoiding caffeine, alcohol, and heavy meals at least a few hours before bedtime.

Creating a comfortable sleep environment with a cool, dark, and quiet room.

Practicing relaxation techniques like deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, or yoga.

Limiting screen time before bed and avoiding stimulating activities like work or exercise.

On the other hand, some bad habits that can interfere with your sleep and affect your health include:

Consuming stimulating substances like caffeine, nicotine, or alcohol before bedtime.

Eating heavy or spicy meals that can cause indigestion or acid reflux.

Using electronic devices like smartphones, tablets, or laptops in bed, which emit blue light and can disrupt your circadian rhythm.

Engaging in stressful or emotionally charged activities like watching the news, working, or arguing.

Staying up late and irregular sleep patterns can make it difficult to fall asleep and wake up feeling rested.

By cultivating healthy bedtime habits and avoiding harmful ones, you can improve the quality and duration of your sleep, which can have positive effects on your physical and mental well-being

Establishing a set of bedtime habits or a bedtime routine can help improve the quality of your sleep. Here are some common habits that people often engage in before bedtime:

1. **Relaxation**: Engage in calming activities to wind down, such as reading a book, taking a warm bath, or practicing relaxation techniques like deep breathing or meditation.

2. **Limit Screen Time**: Reduce exposure to screens (phones, tablets, TVs) at least an hour before bed, as the blue light emitted from screens can interfere with your sleep.

3. **Avoid Heavy Meals**: Refrain from consuming heavy or spicy meals close to bedtime to prevent discomfort.

4. **Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol**: Limit or avoid caffeine and alcohol intake, as these substances can disrupt sleep patterns.

5. **Set a Consistent Sleep Schedule**: Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day to regulate your body's internal clock.

6. **Create a Comfortable Sleep Environment**: Ensure your bedroom is conducive to sleep by keeping it dark, quiet, and at a comfortable temperature.

7. **Limit Naps**: If you need to nap during the day, keep it short (20-30 minutes) to avoid interfering with nighttime sleep.

8. **Physical Activity**: Regular exercise can improve sleep, but try to finish vigorous workouts a few hours before bedtime.

9. **Limit Fluid Intake**: Minimize the consumption of liquids close to bedtime to reduce nighttime awakenings for bathroom trips.

10. **Unwind and Declutter**: Tidy up your space and set out what you need for the next day to reduce stress and have a clear mind.

11. **Avoid Stressful Activities**: Try to avoid work-related tasks, intense discussions, or anything that might cause stress in the hours leading up to bedtime.

12. **Use White Noise or Relaxing Music**: Some people find that white noise or soothing music can help them relax and fall asleep more easily.

Remember that the effectiveness of these habits can vary from person to person. It's essential to find a routine that suits your individual needs and preferences to promote restful sleep.
