I find it complicated to put objects into a group, but they need to be classified, right? Have you ever wondered how to organize items in the supermarket? Any ideas how do they do it?

I think a lot of sections are being studied for years like say kitchen, bedroom, electricity, electronics etc. Sections are stored on that basis. Like food and frozen food maybe nearby and also accessible in multiple closer to the grocery section etc. It all depends on their approach of keeping things in order.

I agree. The owner needs to consider this. Planning is the key factor to encourage consumers on what to buy in particular sections.

Yes yes, That's what I meant in my answer. Arranged by sections for customers to be more accessible in the products. :)

It is simple knowledge goods are group into consumables, home use, foods, meats, fruits etc. When you visit a section for fruits you definitely know you can find a particular fruit like banana, another example if you are looking for detergent it is best to visit the home use section.

I think it is a logical way that the supermarket needs to have the signages with these sections. It seems too tough to keep on refilling the sections.

Packages are placed on shelves, arranged in aisles and sections according to type of item. Some items, such as fresh produce, are stored in bins. ... In terms of bakery items, supermarkets usually dedicate 30 to 40 feet of store space to the bread aisle.

It seems that you are an expert on this. I agree that the sections should be placed depending on how the consumers need their basic needs.

sections of the grocery store. These sections include fruit and vegetable (fresh produce), meat, dairy, frozen food, canned goods, and the bakery. We have also learned what foods are in each section. animals.

In most cases, we need to consider how they are being placed in sections, right? I find it confusing when a supermarket is not that organized in keeping order.

As far as I learned in the college, the big superstores and supermarkets use a specific computer  program. it's called SAP. It's German program that costs millions of dollars.

That's a pricey one. I am sure it needs for the supermarket to be sustainable. I haven't seen one though.

I've been studying one. The college purchased it so students can learn. It's a lot to learn and not simple.

I am sure it is complicated to learn it. The future generations need to catch up with this kind of technological advancement.

First of all it was categorized if that product was edible or not or maybe it is separated if it has different chemical to use in cleaning materials. But it is arranged according to their brand or usually one rack is one classification of item and the following shelves contains the other items but still same brand name.

The products that are costly is always placed at the top of the shelf and those products that are popular among people and come looking for it is situated in the lower shelves

Supermarkets are divided into sections, such as bakery, dairy, produce (fruits and vegetables), frozen, meat, and deli, along with a "general grocery" section where one can find packaged goods, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene items.
