If people have extramarital affairs then why do they get married?
more_vert
There must be something that they are getting from the extra marital affair that they don't get from their partners. Most times it could be sex, money, or just mere seeking for fantasy.

Other times the love isn't there anymore and instead of trying to fix it and rekindle old flames, they go outside to please themselves.

Accor6to my pov, people get married from the pressure of their parents and the society  even though they didn't like their choosen partner very much or like someone else but are forced to get married to them. But later on these people end up having extramarital affairs which eventually ruins their's as well as their partner's life.

Basically they get into marriage for the wrong reasons and that's why they indulge in extramarital affairs.

It's good we get into marriage for the right reasons.

There are many reasons why people choose to get married, and not all of them have to do with being faithful to their spouse. Some people may marry for love, some may marry for financial or social reasons, and some may marry for personal fulfillment or because they want to start a family. It is not uncommon for people to have extramarital affairs, even if they are married. However, infidelity can be a breach of trust that can cause significant harm to a marriage and can lead to the breakdown of the relationship. It is important for couples to communicate openly and honestly with each other and to be committed to maintaining the trust and connection in their relationship.

People get married for a variety of reasons, including love, commitment, and a desire to share their lives with someone else. While getting married can help create a more stable and lasting relationship, it does not necessarily guarantee that the two people will remain faithful to one another. People who are unfaithful in marriage may have underlying issues or personal struggles that are preventing them from creating a healthy and lasting bond with their partner.

Extramarital affairs are when an individual has extramarital sex. This isn't always done in the privacy of a bedroom, so the individual must find another way to have sex.

That's the reason everybody has, but I think people marry so that they are not alone, or for companionship, others for security, others for convenience, others for material purposes, others for status, others marry so that they can fulfil their sexual desires, others marry so that they cannot be ridiculed by the society, others marry for babies.

Extramarital affairs, also known as infidelity or cheating, refer to romantic or sexual involvement with someone other than one's spouse while in a committed marriage or relationship. Such behavior can have complex and varied underlying reasons. Here are some common factors associated with extramarital affairs and the importance of marriage:

**Common Factors for Extramarital Affairs:**

1. **Emotional Disconnect**: Some individuals may seek extramarital affairs when they feel emotionally disconnected from their spouse. They may look for emotional intimacy and support elsewhere.

2. **Lack of Satisfaction**: A perception of dissatisfaction in the marital relationship, whether in terms of emotional, physical, or sexual satisfaction, can lead some individuals to seek fulfillment outside the marriage.

3. **Midlife Crisis**: Some people experience a midlife crisis and may engage in extramarital affairs as a way to recapture a sense of youth or excitement.

4. **Opportunity and Temptation**: The opportunity to engage in an affair, combined with feelings of temptation, can lead some individuals to make choices they later regret.

5. **Revenge or Retaliation**: In some cases, extramarital affairs may be motivated by a desire for revenge or retaliation in response to perceived wrongs within the marriage.

6. **Lack of Communication**: Poor communication within the marriage can create misunderstandings and lead to frustration, which may prompt some individuals to seek solace or connection elsewhere.

7. **Addiction and Impulse Control**: Addiction or impulse control issues, such as sex addiction, can drive individuals to engage in extramarital affairs.

**Importance of Marriage:**

Marriage is a complex and deeply personal institution that holds different meanings and values for individuals. While infidelity is a challenge within marriages, many people believe that marriage offers several important benefits and serves as a foundation for:

1. **Emotional Support**: Marriage provides a framework for emotional support, companionship, and intimacy, which can be fulfilling and comforting.

2. **Family and Children**: Marriage often serves as the foundation for families and raising children. Many believe that children benefit from a stable family structure.

3. **Commitment and Partnership**: Marriage represents a formal commitment and partnership between two individuals, fostering mutual care and shared responsibilities.

4. **Legal and Financial Protections**: Marriage can offer legal and financial protections, including inheritance rights, tax benefits, and healthcare access.

5. **Religious and Cultural Significance**: For some, marriage holds significant religious and cultural value. It's seen as a sacred union that carries deep meaning.

6. **Social Support**: Married couples often have access to social networks and support systems that may contribute to their well-being.

It's important to recognize that the importance of marriage and the reasons for extramarital affairs can vary significantly among individuals and cultures. Addressing and preventing extramarital affairs typically involve open communication, therapy, and efforts to reconnect emotionally within the marriage. In cases where marriages are severely damaged or unfulfilling, some individuals may consider separation or divorce as a means to find happiness and fulfillment elsewhere.

Individuals get hitched for different reasons, and not all relationships include or bring about extramarital undertakings. Marriage is a perplexing foundation, and people have different inspirations for going into it. A few normal purposes behind getting hitched include: 1. **Love and Companionship:** Many individuals get hitched on the grounds that they are enamored and need to enjoy their lives with their picked accomplice. 2. **Commitment:** Marriage frequently connotes a conventional obligation to a drawn out relationship, representing commitment to one another. 3. **Legal and Monetary Benefits:** Marriage can offer legitimate and monetary benefits, for example, tax breaks, legacy freedoms, and admittance to medical services and protection. 4. **Family and Social Expectations:** Social or cultural standards and assumptions might impact individuals to wed. 5. **Religious or Profound Beliefs:** For some, marriage is a holy or otherworldly responsibility in accordance with their confidence. 6. **Desire for Children:** Many couples get hitched determined to begin or raising a family. Extramarital undertakings are not a widespread or vital part of marriage. While certain people truly do take part in undertakings, it's fundamental to perceive that not every person who gets hitched is untrustworthy. Disloyalty is a break of trust that can have different causes and results, however it doesn't address the goals or activities of every single wedded person.
