I recently joined a social-network that requires to use a mobile app. Since it's new, the app is quite buggy. From the discussion with the other members, it was apparent that there are more Android users than iPhone users. I was wondering if that would hold true here.

Yes, Android phones are more used than iPhone because it is cheaper than iPhone and people are using it more because of this and most of the companies make Android phones.

I am using an android phone right now . An android phone has every thing you want it to have , while an iPhone phone feels limited and lack of variety .

iOS is a closed system whereas Android is more open. Users have barely any system permissions in iOS but in Android, users can customize their phones easily. Android software is available for many manufacturers such as Samsung, LG etc. ... Integration with other devices is better in Apple iOS as compared to Google Android.

I am an Android phone user and I have used this for over 7 years, my best Android brand is Samsung because the design their phones for ease of use, they know what the customers want and they make phones to fits customers needs and usage.

While this is true of Samsung, and I also agree that Samsung is the best Android brand in my opinion, Apple also designs their devices from ease of use and to fit the customers needs and usage. Their interface only seems difficult because it is so secure and protected, but once someone actually takes some time to learn how to navigate it, iOS is easy and awesome.

I am an iPhone user. I stand proudly by my Apple products. I love their security and privacy and the fact that they pretty much can't get a virus. They're more difficult to hack and your information is highly protected if the device is ever lost or stolen (assuming the user sets the device up properly and uses a passcode and Find My to activation lock the device).

That being said, there are more Android users in the world but this is mostly due to the fact that 1) There are more companies that create Android devices and 2) There are more lower cost options for Android such as prepaid devices under $100 or less.

Apple's closed ecosystem makes for a tighter integration, which is why iPhones don't need super powerful specs to match the high-end Android phones. It's all in the optimization between hardware and software. ... Generally, though, iOS devices are faster and smoother than most Android phones at comparable price ranges.

I go with the idea that android phones are much more affordable than iPhone and also, many companies are manufacturing the Android series compared to iPhone.

I am both an iPhone and Android user l can say that Android phones are many users friendly. iPhone has some issues that you cannot open certain websites and limited applications at the App Store to download almost all of the nice applications you would like are not available in the iPhone. That's why there are instances Android phones battery easily drains that iPhone.

87 % of users are using android phones and 13% is only using ios. The main reason for android wave is due to the high cost of ios phone and non customisation if the phone. The ios software is closed amd more secure than the android.

Yes. There are more Android users than iPhone users because it is easier to use and it is more accessible. Also, Android phones have more access in Apps, Softwares and sites that can be used especially in your field. I myself, is an Android phone user.
