Decision-making is personal. It's your own. We are prepared to take full responsibility for the outcome of that decision. How do you make that decision?

I am usually not a risk-taker.  But I usually take the necessary step on a calculated risk. I make the decision when I know I can take full responsibility for whatever outcome my decision may bring. When opposing opinions become too overwhelming on certain decisions I needed to make, I tend to disengage, take a step back, and not entertain any further. That way it helps me to be more focused on the bottom line - what is best for me.

I agree. Thank you for answering.

I think I'm the same. Like you, I'm good at focusing on my target. And look, and plan for solutions that will work to get me out, or a way out of any possible risks. Risks that I need not or unnecessarily face.

I am glad that you agree with me. Maybe it is in our blood. Are we related? :-P

Personally, I think first before having a final decision. I sometimes weighing down the possible outcome, either bad or good. I sometimes use the 'decision tree analysis.' It is not that difficult to do since it gives time to think or even rethink before deciding on something.

Desicions are the hardest thing to make, especially when it is a choise between where you should be and what you want to be. Sometimes, it's the smallest decision that can change your life forever.

I always make decisions knowing there are repercussions and consequences to whatever I decide. Hence I prepare my mind so that anything that comes my way, I had expected therefore I do not have to worry so much about it.

Its a good thought that don't worry about anything to much because they will go after some time. Worrying will increase our anxiety will not increase our peaceful mind.

It is an important thing the decision making, it should be taken at right time, right situation. Otherwise it will turn to be more complicated. The effect of wrong decision leads to many problems.

What if the decision is an urgent matter? I am sure we need to be more alert or active in giving the right decisions.

Taking decisions for your self can be very hard, and sometimes frustrating but when you make the right ones you don't fear of what is about to be the outcome.

To know when you have made the right decisions, there will be no much objection by people and you will not feel guilty. You will also have great rewards from that decision. That's how you know.

It will not also be against God's moral standards.

You can actually test that yourself. When you feel that something is wrong or something is disturbing your mind you might want to think about the thing you did. If you feel happy after doing something knowing no one is hurt that might be a good sign that what you did is morally right.

You would know you have made the right decision if you follow your benevolent heart. Too often we ask this question because it bothers us, but pls know that whatever the case maybe, so long as you have made it bc of kindness and empathy, selflessness, you did it for yourself, for your peace of mind, do know you have made the right decision.

Before making decisions in life you have to consider the people around you and the results of this decision you are going to make if it outcome will be good or bad

You can determine if you've made the right decision by considering several factors:

1. Alignment with Values: Reflect on whether the decision aligns with your core values, beliefs, and long-term goals. If the choice is consistent with what's important to you, it's likely a good decision.

2. Rational Thinking: Evaluate the decision-making process. Did you gather sufficient information, weigh the pros and cons, and consider potential consequences? If so, and the decision was made based on rational thinking rather than impulsivity, it's a positive sign.

3. Intuition and Gut Feeling: Trust your intuition and gut feeling. Sometimes, even when all rational indicators point in one direction, a nagging feeling may suggest otherwise. If your intuition supports the decision, it may be the right one.

4. Positive Outcomes: Assess the outcomes of the decision. Are you experiencing positive results or progress as a result of your choice? If the decision leads to favorable outcomes and contributes to your well-being or growth, it's likely the right decision.

5. Adaptability and Learning: Recognize that not all decisions will yield the desired outcomes. However, even in the face of challenges or setbacks, the ability to adapt, learn from mistakes, and grow can indicate that you've made the right decision in the long run.

6. Peace of Mind: Consider your overall sense of peace and contentment. If you feel a sense of inner peace, confidence, and acceptance regarding the decision, it's a strong indication that you've made the right choice for yourself.

Ultimately, determining whether a decision is right involves a combination of rational analysis, intuition, self-awareness, and reflection on outcomes. Trusting yourself and your ability to make sound choices is key to navigating life's decisions with confidence.
