I heard a person saying "Every time the long-forgotten people of the past are remembered, they are born again!" How are the people of the past meaningful to you?

Over the course of many years, the human body wears out just like the tires on an old bycycle or the batteries in your favourite toy. When importent parts of body like the heart or lungs or brain wear out and stop working, the person most likely will die. When this happens we says this person died

The remembered  dead "being born again", I don't know what this view or belief means.

I agree with the first answer above. When the physical body "expires" or dies, it enters death and back to 'dust where it shall return'.

But the soul lives. The soul never dies.

In my opinion, people should not be scared of death. There is always a beauty of death. I do cherish people who died in the past. They had shared so many memories with the people left behind. My old man died a few years back, but I still remember all things that he had done for me and the rest of my family members.

The people of the past are an important aspect in the society as they contributed to form the social fabric of the society. Their death leaves a gap that is hard to fill and we remember them through renaming our children after them and we also hope to meet again in the future.

Attitudes toward death between the 12th and 17th centuries were concerned more with the individual's own mortality than the social aspects of death. The main biological significance is it decreases competition for food between generations and also serves evolutionary populations with genetic characteristics.

Dead people are remembered if they've mattered to the person that is remembering them. They've had unforgettable memories together or they've shared so much with each other. Me personally, I commemorate a dead person once I've adopted his trait that has been passed to me. It will make me feel grateful to be in the same character of a dead person who had a meaningful life

I heard a whole lot of that kind of stories before and heard many people say their own stories about dead people coming back to life in another place.

The dead people become meaningful to me when I remember the good things they did for me when they were alive. That's how I do it.

The death of a loved one is too deep to forget .

Death is considered significant for various reasons, encompassing cultural, philosophical, religious, and existential perspectives. Here are a few aspects that highlight the significance of death:

1. **Mortality Awareness:** The awareness of death is a unique aspect of human consciousness. Knowing that life is finite can influence how individuals perceive and prioritize their time, relationships, and experiences.

2. **Cultural and Religious Beliefs:** Many cultures and religions have specific beliefs and rituals surrounding death. It often marks a transition, and rituals help communities navigate the emotional and spiritual aspects associated with death.

3. **Philosophical Reflection:** Philosophers throughout history have contemplated the significance of death in relation to the meaning of life. Existential questions about purpose, legacy, and the nature of existence often arise in considering the finitude of life.

4. **Motivator for Action:** The awareness of mortality can serve as a motivator for individuals to pursue their goals, make meaningful contributions, and build connections with others. The transient nature of life can prompt people to seek purpose and fulfillment.

5. **Impact on Relationships:** The death of loved ones can profoundly impact individuals, shaping their perspectives on relationships and prompting reflections on the value of connections with others.

6. **Coping with Grief:** Death is a universal experience, and understanding how to navigate grief is a significant aspect of the human experience. Coping with loss often involves a process of mourning and adapting to life without the presence of a loved one.

While death is a natural part of life, its significance varies among individuals and cultures. The exploration of death's meaning is deeply personal and often influenced by factors such as beliefs, values, and individual experiences.
