Personally, I am thinking that we can still use bank cards and online payments. For the reason that we are still in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Do you think money would still be used in the Fifth Industrial Revolution?

Can cryptocurrency will be the option?

One of the probability I could imagine is that bio metric Currency may be introduced. And the person's biometric identification shall be made by the sensor which will be installed in all devices even in transportation.

If somebody avail some service, the required money will be automatically deducted from the deposits which may be saved in the cloud based server system or so.

No physical money shall be existing. In that case fraudulent activities will be minimized. Nobody can withdraw the money without the presence of the owner.

If somebody wants to seize the money by force, the emotional sensor will give negative result to the nearby police station who soon will be active to find out the culprit and to save that person.

I hope that scammers who cheat innocent people will not be able to hack their accounts. At present, some of them are good at deceiving by sending links to emails and the like. If the innocent soul clicked it, then he or she will be lost his or her mind because the scammer got the money.

Yes I think digital currencues  also known as crypto currency will be the option in the future although banks and other financial institutions will play big role in the means of buying and selling of these currencies.

Visa and master cards will  also be used to withdraw the liquid Cash money by those people who may not have digital wallets.

I think it will take time to use these cryptocurrencies fully. I mean there are still people who are old fashion in using ATM cards.

I think more of virtual currency would be in use but it won't replace the traditional currency we have at present. This is because it will take a bit of time for this to be achieved. Phasing out traditional currency won't be that easy to achieve.

You have a point that currencies will not be replaced. But they can be used virtually. I assumed that more ATM cards, credit cards, etc. will be used in the future.

I agree with you that it could be used in the future. Wherein, they are being used at present. I am not sure if it will continue since not all people are into it. Regardless, they can progress more if there is a rule of thumb to become the form of transaction in paying or buying things up virtually.

I really hope that cash will still rule our monetary system in the following years but I guess that cryptocurrency will be more valuable in the upcoming seasons. As the economy of the world decrease this few months due to pandemic crisis, cryptocurrency emerged in the market.

It is timely to use cryptocurrencies since we are still in a pandemic situation at present. It is the safest way to pay or buy virtually. I do hope that this chaotic scenario will end soon.

Electronic transactions have become more and more common over the last few decades and the trend will still continue and paper money will completely disappear at any time in the near future. Digital currency promises flexibility and economic growth it also would be inexpensive, easy, and fast. Currencies boost trade and open up multiple opportunities to strengthen the financial health of the countries.

Yes, I think cryptocurrency will be another option in the future as a form of payment. Recently there are a lot of various cryptocurrencies are coming out. Some are being used already as a form of payment which will be converted into cash. In our modern world, it is not impossible that they will consider these cryptocurrencies as one of our common payment options.

It is difficult to predict exactly which type of money will be used more in the future. However, it is likely that digital forms of money, such as cryptocurrencies and mobile payments, will become increasingly popular. Additionally, with the advent of technologies like blockchain, decentralized forms of currency may also gain more widespread use. Central banks are also exploring the use of digital fiat currencies as well. It also depend on the government policies and regulations on the specific country.

Digital currency has the potential to completely change how society thinks about money. The rise of Bitcoin, Ethereum and thousands of other cryptocurrencies that exist only in electronic form has led global central banks to research how national digital currencies might work.
