What's the favorite subject of conversation in England?

I have never been to England before. So I was wondering what do they usually talk about. I am sure you can help me out with this concern.

I speak from experience with the English that they love football. In bars (pubs as they would call them) or the subway (tube as they would call it) you would definitely hear people loudly discussing an important football match that has already happened or will happen in the near future. Another thing to note is that now England has become so diverse with different ethnicities living in every part of the country. So it depends on who you are sitting with and talking to.
