I had seen some kids with ADHD. I cannot understand why they look so normal, but the thinking is so slow. Is there something wrong when they were being conceived by their mothers?

ADHD was the first disorder found to be the result of a deficiency of a specific neurotransmitter. There are millions of neurons, densely packed into various regions of the brain. Each region is responsible for a particular function. Interpreting vision, hearing, and other sensory inputs that helps you decide how to respond physically, and vocally. Anyway..in order for these regions and do their jobs, they must be linked to another region, like wiring but obviously not wires..but neural circuts, these carry info from one region to another.

Ok sorry, now back to your question. Causes can be from blood relatives, such as a parent or sibling, exposure to environmental toxins such as lead, maternal drug use, alcohol use, and smoking during pregnancy, and premature birth. Hope this helps.

I read something about it. Some doctors claimed that some mothers are trying to abort the embryo and changed their minds of doing it. I assumed that it was using unprescribed drugs. Is this also a causative factor?

It is generally accepted that the genes you acquire from your parents play a substantial role in developing ADHD because the disorder tends to run in families.

The exact cause of ADHD is not fully understood, but research suggests that it may be related to a combination of genetic, environmental, and developmental factors.

Genetic factors: ADHD tends to run in families, which suggests that there may be a genetic component to the disorder. Studies have identified certain genes that may be associated with an increased risk of developing ADHD.

The exact cause of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is not fully understood, but it is believed to be a combination of genetic, neurological, and environmental factors. Research suggests that certain genes may play a role in increasing the risk of developing ADHD. Additionally, differences in brain structure and function, particularly in areas responsible for attention and impulse control, have been observed in individuals with ADHD. Environmental factors such as exposure to toxins during pregnancy, premature birth, low birth weight, and maternal smoking or substance abuse have also been associated with an increased risk of ADHD. It's important to note that ADHD is a complex condition and not solely caused by one factor.
