While it's true that finding the value of \( X \) in certain mathematical equations might not directly relate to buying food or immediate practical needs, mathematics serves various purposes beyond immediate utility. It helps develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and logical reasoning, which are valuable in many aspects of life, including in professions like engineering, finance, and science. Additionally, exploring mathematical concepts can lead to advancements in technology, medicine, and other fields that ultimately contribute to societal progress and well-being. So, even if a specific equation might not seem immediately applicable, the process of solving it and understanding the underlying principles can have broader benefits.
