Who is your favourite classical (i.e. Western) composer?

I have several composers on my list - Tchaikovsky, Schubert, Brahms, Mozart - it is hard to decide on just one! But who comes top of the list for you?

My top composer would have to be Chopin. Chopin’s melodies are expressive and innovative. His music almost gives off a darker vibe, like something you would play on a stormy night.

Mozart,schubert,brahms,tchaikovsky are the order of most liked musician. Mozart had a great voice and melodies was great. Most of others are also great to hear.

I think Bach stands separately. He was an organ player at the Leipzig cathedral (been there once) and his music is a kind of special one for dedicated instrument. Very monumental neveretheless.

I would say Mozart appeals to me the most but that could be because he is the only one who's music I am familiar with. Jazz is more my style.
