According to Eric Ries " lean startup " book, MVP means Minimum viable product or minimum workable product which stresses the impact of learning in a new product development.

A core feature that solves the major problem is identified first with research and developing that core feature by continual iteration to achieve the feature to its best and launching it. Then the secondary level features are tested with the previous version and launched seriously one after the another understanding the real need of users.
