You can avoid so much attachment to your phone by doing it the “old fashioned way”, leave your phone somewhere for a good few hours. I would suggest filling your free time with as many non-phone related activities. You could exercise or pick up other kinds of outdoor activities. You could have game night with friends or family (board games are time consuming so you will forget all about your phone). You could pick up other things such as cooking or painting.

Good question. Good reminder. Whenever I have the pull of my smartphone to bring it along with me even in the bathroom and bed, I deliberately  turn it off, leave it where it was and go where I should go without it.  So, far I'm doing alright without it at a time, even longer. I turn social media every Saturday.

I usually make a plan each day for how I use my smartphone. At morning I will check the notifications on my you tube,  forum and  publication I membered. And I answer all the comments and leave it for bathing, cleaning my laundry, etc. At noon, I create video for my youtube and edit my articles and afternoon I charge it. In the evening I will searching ideas and source for my writing and finishong some works.

Being attached to your phone is normally caused by a lack of productivity. You need to find some hobbies and at-home projects that do not require your phone. Exercise and reading also are great options to separate you and your phone. Lastly, planning outside activities with friends and socializing, in general, will relieve you of your attachment to your phone.
