It has been 7 months since our government took serious precautions on Covid-19 pandemic by placing our country on lockdown. Now, they are slowly opening all businesses including recreational activities. How about in your place?
It's been hard, but we have to hang in there using coping skills and things that make us happy! We also must remember that this new normal isn't going to be the normal forever.
MY country is Sri Lanka. We had severe lock down from March till 2 months. Now the things are normal. But COVID is not normal here. The third wave of pandemic is going on.
I educate myself that it's the right thing to do at this time to avoid the virus spreading and to prevent us from being infected. So, I just follow the rule, use/do safety procedures and doing positive and enjoyful activities during at home as we can not so often going outdoor.
I am coping to new normal the best way I can. I follow social distancing, wearing mask and face shields. Anyone can cope with this Pandemic if we just follow certain protocols.
My country has also managed to open up some places with curfew still in place. Today we have the presidential speech and we anticipate much from him on the directive of how we should go in regard to controlling the spread of the virus.
I noticed that my city is not that strict, especially the in and out of the people here. I hope things would be fine totally and no variants will be mutated.
