The torrid zone is located between the tropic of cancer 23.5 degrees north and the tropic of Capricorn 23.5 degrees south. it is said that these zones are called the rainforest zones. Some refer to these as the tropics. because of the location of the zone. The torrid zone covers 38.79 percent of the earth. 

In India, if you live in the southern Asia area, you'll be living in the torrid or tropic zone. The northern part of India lies in the temperature zone and the southern part of India lies in the torrid zone. In India more than have the country lies in the northern regions and not in the torrid zone.

Other features include tropical storms, droughts, and occasional flooding. The region is also prone to periodic wildfires due to the dry conditions and abundance of vegetation.

Torrid Zone refers to places near the equator where the climate is generally warm in nature . It may not experience all the four seasons due to the warm and wet climate. It is located between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. The intertropical convergence zone has a great influence on climate of this region , it nay cause thunderstorms in this area.

In India, the southern states - Andra Pradesh, Karnataka comes in this zone.
