As you said the phone is too bad to boot. The wiping out of data from the phone can only be done if the phone was going to on. But if you can find a way to put on the phone:

1) Go to settings

2) navigate to  system

3) locate reset option

4) under this you would see factory data reset.

With these steps, you would be able to wipe out your data you have in the phone.

You go to settings, then factory data reset and you click, erase all data. This is possible only if you're using android. You will erase all the data completely including the applications.

Also, you can format your phone. This too loses all the data in the phone. If you have access to a computer, then you can try this out.

I prefer using the first method but if it doesn't work, you can try the second method.

This won't work at all because the cell phone is damaged and it won't even turn on. The only option he has is to destroy the motherboard or try to use a software program to force the phone to turn on and do a complete memory wipe.

Actually one should read the question first before answering. Without booting how can one do a soft reset. Moreover, a soft reset can't wipe it completely. Even a hard reset need much more process to completely shred a system from recovery. But here in this answer, the problem is not technical, but understanding the question. An answer should always be an answer. Not a suggestion or just a reply or comment.

In order to do this, you will need to download and install a program on your computer. The name of the program is Syncois. This works with all iOS and Android device.

  1. Download and install the free program on your computer.
  2. Plug in the device to see if it is recognized by the program.
  3. This might take a few times to turn it off and on or plug and unplug the USB cable on the phone.
  4. If the program finally recognizes the phone you can do a complete data wipe using this program.
If your phone is that damaged then the only thing you can really do is destroy the phone completely by taking it apart and removing the motherboard inside the phone. If you destroy the motherboard, there is no way anyone can get the information stored on your phone.

There are a few ways to clean data from a cellphone that is too damaged to boot. One way is to use aords or a crevice tool to clean the data from the case, screen, and bezels. Another way is to use a data cleaner and clean the data from the data card and all within the data zone.

If your phone is too damaged to boot, there are still some ways to wipe the data from it. Here are a few options:

Use the Android Device Manager: If you had enabled Android Device Manager on your phone and connected it to your Google account, you can use it to remotely wipe your phone's data. Go to the Android Device Manager website, sign in with your Google account, and select the option to wipe your device.

Use recovery mode: If your phone can still access recovery mode, you can use it to wipe your data. The exact steps may vary depending on your phone model, but typically, you can enter recovery mode by pressing a combination of buttons when the phone is turned off. Once in recovery mode, look for an option to wipe the data/factory reset.

Use a third-party tool: There are third-party tools available, such as TunesBro DroidWiper, that can help wipe data from a damaged phone. These tools require a computer and a USB cable to connect the phone to the computer.

If your cellphone is damaged and unable to boot, wiping data becomes more challenging. However, you can still attempt to wipe the data using the following methods:

### Method 1: Remote Wipe (If Enabled):

1. **Google Find My Device (Android) or Find My iPhone (iOS):**

   - If you had enabled remote tracking on your Android or iPhone before the device became inaccessible, you may be able to wipe the data remotely.

   - Visit the respective online service (Google Find My Device or iCloud) from a computer or another device.

   - Log in with the Google or Apple account associated with the device.

   - Locate the option to wipe the device remotely.

### Method 2: Factory Reset via Recovery Mode:

1. **Access Recovery Mode:**

   - Depending on the phone model, you can often access recovery mode even if the device doesn't boot. The combination of buttons to enter recovery mode varies (e.g., holding volume down + power).

2. **Navigate and Confirm Factory Reset:**

   - In recovery mode, use volume buttons to navigate through options and power button to select. Look for an option like "Wipe data/factory reset" or similar.

   - Confirm the action when prompted.

### Method 3: Professional Data Recovery Service:

1. **Consult Professionals:**

   - If the data on your damaged phone is extremely sensitive, consider consulting a professional data recovery service.

   - These services may be able to recover data even from non-functional devices.

### Important Considerations:

- **Data Recovery Implications:**

  - Keep in mind that attempting a factory reset or other data wipe methods may not guarantee complete data erasure. Some data recovery tools may still retrieve fragments of data.

- **Data Encryption:**

  - If your phone had encryption enabled, the data may be more secure even if the physical device is compromised.

- **Backup:**

  - Regularly backing up your data to an external source or cloud service can prevent significant data loss in case of device damage.

- **Manufacturer-Specific Tools:**

  - Some manufacturers provide specific tools or services for data wiping or recovery. Check with the manufacturer's support resources.

Always prioritize data security and privacy when dealing with damaged devices. If in doubt, seeking assistance from professionals or contacting the device's manufacturer for guidance is recommended.
