You can try cleaning the touchscreen or update your IOS a couple of other options would be to simply take off your screen protector and replace it with a new one.

It might have a problem regarding to its touch IC I suggest you must send it to the repair shop or else it might get worse just like my iphone before. Probably less cost

To fix the 'ghost touching' problem on iPhones, try cleaning the screen, restarting the device, disabling 3D Touch, or restoring the device to its factory settings. If none of these work, contact Apple Support or take it to a certified repair center.

There are a few ways to fix the 'ghost touching' problem on iPhones. One way is to fix the way in which iPhone moves between touched and not touched states. Another way is to fix the way in which iPhone saves touch events to the memstick. Finally, iPhone uses a faster way to detect when a touch event is being delivered and moves between the touched and not touched states accordingly.

Power button until the "Slide to Power Off" option appears to restart your iPad. To switch off your iPad, slide the button. Press and hold the Power button once more to turn your iPad back on after a little delay. For updates, check: Verify that the operating system on your iPad is the most recent version. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check for updates. Choose Download and Install to install any updates that are available.
