I believe that a persons name could affect their ability to land successful jobs in a way. My name is a tad bit difficult and hard to pronounce so I just a shorter version of my name. I have applied to jobs with my government name and have been turned down from positions but once I used my alternative I was at least offered an interview. Maybe it was a coincidence but that's just my opinion.

In Russian, we have a saying which goes "The way you name a ship that's the way it will go" and honestly I have met many people who have lived up to their names in positive and negative ways.

The name given at birth is very important. The meaning of your name can be carried down from generations to generations which in turn can carry a lot of weight in a town you reside. My family name carries a lot weight and it has helped me get jobs and other things that could of been difficult if they didn't know my family.

By the personality. Some names you hear people saying just seen to be judgemental. Or wired like Storm. It's from a reality show 90 finance I don't watch it anymore.

I don't think it has any role in people lives , I believe that what you get is by your efforts and you get what gods write for you to get, your name has no role in this.

people in life will deal with you as a person not for your name.

It does.  A name affects your future. I have seen a lot of peoples lives get affected by their names. My uncle for one, he's name meant being smart. He was the opposite of his name. Sad but true. He was given a lot of chances to better his life but each time he took the wrong way.

My name is strange and I sometimes make an employer laugh by just stating my real name. I guess Bejdanch is unique in their ears tho. There are such names that sound fit to a certain position or maybe fits with a prefix Dr. Atty. or Phd.

A name affects people by using the power of words. Already people have the impression of the meaning of each name, the daily calling and attaching of the meaning of the name to it brings the effect of such names to reality.
