At times pet makes us laugh and sometimes their actions could drive us crazy. What if your pet chew your homework? How would you react? :P

Just redo the homework and spare the pet. After all, that's what makes it an animal and you a human. Just keep the work at a safer place next time away from your pet

I would probably give my pet a time out and take it out in the yard to sit away from my work (and have a little fresh air). While it is outside I would still be angry but redo my homework all over and be wary next time to hide my important things away from the pet as to not have to do it again.

If your pet chews your homework, you should explain the situation to your teacher and try to come up with a solution to submit your assignment.

I don't have a pet, but in case your pet chews your homework, it's important to first assess the extent of the damage. If the damage is minor, you could try to salvage the parts that are still intact and do your best to piece things together. However, if the damage is significant and you can no longer complete the assignment, it's best to reach out to your teacher and explain what happened. You can apologize for not being able to submit your work on time and request an extension or an opportunity to make up the assignment. It's important to be honest and transparent about what happened and take responsibility for the situation.
