People sometimes play some music for certain mental health issues. However, is there medical evidence to prove music offers any sort of healing?

Yes, music do have healing properties. There are certain music tracks and music therapy techniques which could help a person to reduce anxiety, eases depression, enhances concentration and creativity, induce quality sleep. Music therapy has been found helpful in pain reduction and decreases nausea feeling during chemotherapy in cancer patients. All these proves that music holds a important healing properties at both body and mind level.

Well for me I have a bit of a temper, music usually often calms me down and stops me in my tracks before I say or do something wrong. I also love meditation music it helps me meditate and do yoga gives me a clear and relaxed mind. people use different kinds of genres of music for whatever mood their in if I wanna clean ill-use upbeat music if I wanna rest ill-use calming ocean music sounds if I wanna work out ill-use electric pop music it all depends on me.

Yes it is very true that music can heal our bodies and minds. When you are stressed or you are tired from doing work the whole day listening to your favourite music can  make you feel relaxed and also refresh your mind.

Before giving any scientific explanation, I would like to share my own childhood experience. When I was a kid, I was afraid of dark whenever the light goes out I panicked, I always felt like anytime the ghost will appear or something like that, Then I start to sing loudly and as the volume of my voice increases, I felt less fear and every time the light goes out I started to do so. Therefore according to me, music or song do have a certain effect on our brain. Coming to the scientific explanation, Music engages our brain from the current situation and drifts our thoughts with its rhythm to the beautiful memories we have. Researches have been conducted and it proved that music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain as well. But it also depends upon which type of music are we listing. Listing to relaxing music can help us cope with our anxiety and stress and will keep us calm and relaxed. Music also has the ability to heal us.

Music helps us on certain points that it helps us to motivate, relax, and calming effect if we are under stress. Just by listening to it our mood changes on a better state. At times we get along with the lyrics of the music and release whatever we are feeling inside to lighten it.
