Some of the best ongoing animes of 2020 that I would recommend:

  • Attack on Titan - I know it started a while back, but if you haven't seen it, you should definitely dive headfirst into it because the new season just came out at the end of 2020. The production facility had a lot of trouble releasing this least season because they lost a lot in a fire, so I'm very impressed that they pulled it back from the bring for this last season. Disclaimer: there's a LOT of gore. Like, a lot. So if you're squeamish, don't even attempt to watch it. (But if you do anyway, don't eat while you watch it, either.)
  • Boruto - Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden were popular for a reason. They had the formula, they had lovable characters, and it was binge-able. Now with Boruto on the air, we get to continue the ninja saga.
  • Pet - this is a 2020 anime that is considered weird and unusual (like many of them) because it's about someone who can manipulate a person's memories and perceptions. But it's a new idea that I find very interesting. The show is unlike some of the other animes that I've watched.
  • Kaguya-sama: Love is War - The second season of this romantic anime just came out, and the art is absolutely gorgeous. If you're into rom-coms, this one is absolutely perfect.

And those are my top four suggestions! I hope you find some of them to be enjoyable.
