If so, how did you overcome that drug addiction. What started you did someone suggest you take it and you just got glued to it. Did you have to go to therapy or counseling? How did it affect others around you?

I had a caffeine drug addiction where caffeine was a stimulant drug as I really loved to drink coffee and could drink a couple of cups of coffee. But drinking too much of coffee, it got me staying awake at night which disrupted my sleeping cycle. It affected others as others around me were concerned that I looked sleepy when I woke up which made them worry for me. I did not go for counselling but made a resolution to cut down on caffeine to one or maximum 2 cups of coffee per day. My sleep has become better and I wake up more refreshed and alert from my sleep.

I have another form of addiction which is not related to drugs and I keep struggling to break off. It takes a higher amount of energy to break off any form addiction, and the victim must be willing to give up the habit.

If someone has a drug addiction, they may have difficulty controlling their drug uses and have to go through therapy or counseling to overcome it. They may also have to manage the use of others as well as themselves.
