No, They aren't the same. Information is the data or facts about something. When you want information about something, you can read it in books or search the details on the internet. And knowledge is the amount of information you've acquired about something. Knowledge is what you know and information is the data you need to acquire in order for you to have knowledge.

Do you mean information is data one reads, information becomes knowledge if/when clarified?

I agree, knowledge is gained while information is being seek.

No definitely, these two are not same. Information is any fact or figure which is intended to tell something, it could or could not be useful for the person getting the information. On the other hand, Knowledge is the a comprehensive set of facts, figures and information which holds some relevance to the person acquiring it.

I agree that they're not the same, yet information cannot be fact until it's clarified.

Not all information is credible. Yet, when it is clarified, it then becomes knowledge.

No I don't think information and knowledge are the same thing because information is all about communication whereby message is sent from one Pearson to another either verbal or non verbal while knowledge is all about learning new skills  about things you didn't knew about.

Information and knowledge are two different things. There is a plethora of information in the world, however, not all of it is useful. Many books and articles can be of sound knowledge and expand the mind to better oneself. There are also books and articles that drain the mind and fill it with useless words that will not grow the person in any way shape or form. Knowledge turns to wisdom after years of collecting material that is worthwhile.

Yes, information and knowledge are the same thing. Information is what we receive, know about, and feel about. This is why knowledge is what we produce.

No, data and information are not the same thing. Data alludes to information or realities that are imparted or gotten. It tends to be crude and natural. Then again, information includes the grasping, appreciation, and understanding of data. Information is the consequence of absorbing and assimilating data, permitting people to make associations, reach determinations, and apply it in different settings. While data can be effectively gotten to and sent, the information requires a more profound degree of mental handling and includes decisive reasoning, examination, and union. Information envelops a more extensive viewpoint and includes the utilization of data in a significant and context-oriented way.

Information and knowledge are related concepts, but they are not the same thing. Information refers to data, facts, or details that are available, often in a raw or unprocessed form. Knowledge, on the other hand, is the understanding and awareness that one gains through the interpretation, organization, and assimilation of information. In other words, knowledge is derived from information when it is processed, contextualized, and applied by a person. So, while information is a foundation for knowledge, they are distinct in their nature and usage.
