Crows are often linked with witches in literature and therefore considered as a bad omen. Since they are scavengers, many people associate them with sickness and death. Raiding crops, stealing eggs from other birds and shiny articles like jewelry haven't exactly helped with their reputation either.

Crows which is somewhat similar to the raven is often mistaken as bad luck by most of us. But it's partially true because crow can be both good luck as well as bad luck. It totally depends on us to decipher what it means to us. Crow does appear scary due to its dark black color when on other hand all the other birds are colorful and look beautiful. In addition to that, it sounds like a broken tape which can cause you a headache when on other hand all the other birds sing their melodious songs. Making the situation worst by seeing crows in a horror movie where they represent the devil or evil. Encountering a crow in a spiritual term means advice or a warning depending upon the situation because crow represents change or transformation usually emotionally or spiritually. You can find different proofs of crows in different mythologies few considering them good luck and few as a messenger.
