The Pi coin like every other cryptocurrency was created by a group of Stanford University Scholars. The scholars have the ambition of creating a coin that is decentralized, payment free with limitless transactions just like Bitcoin.

The coin went through several stages of development and mining.

Presently, the coin is at the last stage of mining before being listed on many popular cryptocurrency trading platforms.

Anyone interested in accumulating the coins may be able to mine them for free now before being listed on several cryptocurrency trading sites in the world. The listing is set to take place this year.

And yes, I happen to have quite a few of the coins.

I am not sure if it is related to Pi Network. Currently, I am using a mobile called as mentioned. I earned some coins but do not know when they are going to pay the users.

The Pi coin, similar to other cryptocurrencies, was created by a group of Stanford University Scholars aiming for a decentralized, fee-less, and unlimited transaction coin, akin to Bitcoin. After undergoing various developmental stages and mining processes, the coin is now in its final mining phase before being listed on major cryptocurrency trading platforms globally. Those interested in acquiring Pi coins can mine them at no cost before the impending listing, expected to happen this year.
