Well, hacking is not very nice, as it is a crime in fact. Instead of having all the hassle to do that you can look for apps that allow you to connect to public and private wi-fi networks. In fact it kind of does that hard work for you, I am not sure if it hacks the networks, though I believe they do. There are some apps that allow you to find these wi-fi connections wherever you go. To name a few you can try Wi-fi Map, Vazoo, Mandic Magic. There are many more, I am sure.

Unfortunately, you cannot hack a WiFi password on an Android phone without rooting the device. Rooting is a process which allows you to gain full control over the operating system of your device, allowing you to modify and access system files. Hacking a WiFi password requires access to system files which can only be obtained through rooting the device.

There are some methods you can use to guess the wifi password without root access on a Android phone. One method is to use a app that grabbing all the user's wifi passwords. Another method is to use a tool that can tell when the phone is being used or resting on its end and can ask for the password when it appears in the wifistat data.
