Points for voting?

Do we get points on Answeree when we give an upvote to someone's answer which we liked, if yes approx how many points we get by doing it?

If I read correctly on the rules and regulations. It is stated that when you upvote someone else's question or answer, certain points will be subtracted from you and be given to the person you upvoted.

Thank you for your answer I got a little confused as I was reading someone's blog where it says that this site pays for all activities so, I thought it also pays for the activity of upvote.

We don't get points for upvoting answers that we like, the only way of earning is through answering of questions, commenting on answers or questions.
