I prefer American English because I was born and raised in America and its what I'm accustomed to. I did have the chance to go to England in 1999 and it took some getting use to hearing the British English.
I prefer American English, it is easy to understand and learn because it is much clearer than British English. On other hand, I find British English hard to understand and its accent unclear to understand.
