The air conditioner being a central heating and cooling system it provides cool or warm air through some ducks on the machine by spreading through out your home providing cool or warm air.

The split system, the compressor condenses and  circulates the refrigerant through the outdoor unit , changing it from gas to liquid is the forced through the indoor evaporator coil or cooling department. the indoor unit fan circulates the inside air to pass across the evaporator fins.

the evaporator mental fins exchange the thermal energy with the air around it, then from there the refrigerant turns into vapor, removing any heat from the surrounding air. As the heat is removed from the air, the air is cooled and blown back into the house.

from that point  the condenser or outdoor unit then turns the refrigerant vapor back into liquid ,removing any heat.by the time the fluid leaves the evaporator again , it is cool , low-pressure gas, eventually returning to the condenser to begin its rip all over again, this process goes on over and again  reaching the temperature you want, as you have programmed it into your thermostat.

An air conditioner works by removing heat and moisture from the air through a process of refrigeration, circulating cool air back into the room.

An air conditioner sucks air into the ducts through a vent. This air is used to cool gas in the evaporator, and as the heat is removed from the air, it's cooled. Ducts then blow air back into the house. This process continues until the inside air of your home or business reaches the desired temperature.
