No matter what your skills are, unless you are a highly trained and skilled mechanic with the right tools and equipment, you should not attempt most repairs at home. You could end up destroying your vehicle, or even worse, injuring yourself or someone else.

DIY car repair can be dangerous if proper safety precautions and procedures are not followed, and if the repairs are beyond the individual's skill level.

You can slip while using a tool and cut yourself severely – possibly even severing a finger. You could even become crushed by the weight of the vehicle if it falls while you are under it. Even if you perform the repairs without incident, you could be at risk if you don't perform the repairs properly.

It depends if you have the expertise in repairing for many years there’s no problem but if you are just trying to repair it for the sake of saving some money and you might end up in an accident or more expense later if something worst might happen in your car. If you think you don't have enough expertise in repairing a car better bring your car to a professional technician who is in charge of repairing cars.

It depends on the specific repair and the person's level of knowledge and experience with car repair. Some minor repairs, such as replacing a tire or changing the oil, can be done safely by a person with basic mechanical skills. However, more complex repairs, such as fixing the transmission or brake system, can be dangerous and should only be performed by a professional mechanic with proper training and equipment. It's always important to follow the manufacturer's instructions and take appropriate safety precautions when working on a car.

Yes, not only it is dangerous, but you can also run into reliability issues and any mistakes can lead to even costly repairs that are completely unrelated to the original issue

Not only is it dangerous, but you can also run into reliability issues, and any mistakes can lead to even costly repairs that are completely unrelated to the original issue. It is important to take your car to a auto mechanic for major repairs involving the engine or the transmission.
