no, it's not a good idea to use LPG cylinders as oxygen cylinders because of the below conditions:

1. LPG cylinders contain less pressure compared with oxygen cylinders.

2. the thickness of the LPG cylinder is more than the oxygen cylinder.

3. due to state of oxygen in gas more pressure is needed and it cannot be possible in an LPG cylinder.

4. there will be changes for danger while using LPG cylinders as oxygen cylinders.

Cylinders should be stored upright, especially those containing acetylene or liquefied petroleum gases (LPG). Cylinders should be segregated according to type, to ensure that fuel gases are not stored together with oxygen. ... Similarly LPG cylinders must be stored separately from other fuel gases.

It depends on the specific application and policy of the particular industry or government. In general, though, empty LPG cylinders can be filled with oxygen if they are used as oxygen supply cylinders or if they are used in anocation where that is the only option.
