My iPad is stuck on the vertical screen. How can I fix this?
more_vert
Slide up from the bottom of the screen to access the Control Center, and then check to see if the orientation lock is turned on (the icon looks like a lock with a circular arrow around it). If so, tap the icon to turn it off. Then, turn your iPad around to see if the screen also rotates.

Below things you can do to fix your ipad.

1. Make sure that Rotation Lock is off: On an iPad with iOS 12 or later, or iPadOS, swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open Control Center. Then tap the Rotation Lock button to make sure it's off.

2. Turn your iPad sideways.

Go to the settings , and check if the rotation is locked to landscape . if it is , then undo it . This is applicable in both android and IOS

If your iPad is stuck in the vertical screen orientation, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue: Restart the device: Press and hold the power button until the "slide to power off" slider appears, then slide to power off. After a few seconds, press the power button again to turn on the iPad. Force restart the device: On an iPad with Face ID, press and release the volume up button, press and release the volume down button, then press and hold the power button until the Apple logo appears. On an iPad with a Home button, press and hold both the Home button and the power button until the Apple logo appears. Check the side switch: Make sure that the side switch on the right side of the iPad (above the volume buttons) isn't set to mute or rotation lock. If it is, flip the switch to turn off the setting. Check orientation lock: Go to the Control Center and make sure that the orientation lock icon isn't enabled. If it is, tap the icon to turn off the lock. Check for a software update: Go to Settings > General > Software Update. If there's an available update, install it. If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to contact Apple Support for further assistance.

If your iPad is stuck in the vertical screen, you can try the following solutions:

Restart your iPad: Press and hold the Power button until the "slide to power off" slider appears. Slide the slider to turn off your iPad, then press and hold the Power button again until the Apple logo appears.

Check the Orientation Lock: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access Control Center, and look for the icon that looks like a lock with a circle around it. If it's highlighted in white, tap it to turn it off.

Check the Side Switch: On some iPad models, the side switch above the volume buttons can be set to either lock rotation or mute. Check if the switch is set to lock rotation, and if so, flip it to the other position.

Reset All Settings: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. This will reset your iPad's settings to their default values, but won't delete any of your data.

Restore your iPad: If none of the above solutions work, you can try restoring your iPad to its factory settings using iTunes on a computer. This will erase all data and settings from your iPad, so make sure you have a backup of your data before proceeding.

If the issue still persists after trying all of these solutions, it might be a hardware issue, and you should contact Apple Support or take your iPad to an authorized service provider

If your iPad is stuck on a vertical screen, try restarting the device by holding down the power button and swiping to turn off. If that doesn't work, try resetting the device by holding down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. If the issue persists, contact Apple support.

Reset all settings: If the aforementioned procedures don't help, you can try resetting all of your iPad's settings. Reset all settings by going to Settings > General > Reset. All of your customized settings will be deleted, but no data will be deleted.

For more help, it might be advisable to get in touch with Apple Help or take your iPad to a licensed repair shop.
