I had a tick infestation in the yard and I ended up with ticks on my animals. When I was cleaning off the ticks it appears I didn't get them all killed. Therefore, some of them attached on my skin and I had to remove them. I didn't have a lot of issues because I got them off quickly. However, I did treat the bites just in case.

  • Use tweezers to make sure you remove the tick completely.
  • Clean the area good with alcohol or another product.
  • You can use apple cider vinegar if the bite starts to itch. This is also good for any type of bite that leaves a mark or starts itching. Apple cider vinegar is excellent for wasp and bee stings.
  • You can now add an antibiotic cream to the area.
