Employees are safe from getting infected

can practice social distancing with ease, and

are comfortable while working.

It is also preferred as the virus can reappear in patients who made a full recovery.

Therefore, WFH complies with the guidelines issued by WHO in terms of social distancing and kept isolated from the rest of the world.

Let us first understand that working from home is nothing new in the Western countries and it has been around for a while. It was that it started when the pandemic happened, but it was already existing. Many companies and organizations have already been practicing WFH even before the outbreak of COVID-19 which offered flexibility to their employees. There is nothing abnormal about WFH. In certain industries, just about everything can be done and managed from home, including meetings, daily tasks, scrums, follow-ups, etc.

But the same is not a practical option for those who are in manufacturing units, hospitality industry, performing arts and heavy industries, Work From Home is a new thing for such organizations that have never had it as a part of their culture.

WFH has many benefits such as:

Employees are safe from getting infected

can practice social distancing with ease, and

are comfortable while working.

It is also preferred as the virus can reappear in patients who made a full recovery.

Therefore, WFH complies with the guidelines issued by WHO in terms of social distancing and kept isolated from the rest of the world.

WFH has been instrumental in maintaining the social distancing norms which would have been impossible otherwise.

The only thing left that the companies should look after is the proper and efficient management of the workforce with the help of digital tools and ensuring that everyone is doing their respective tasks

From this pandemic we have learned a new thing that we can comfortably work from home and perform our job even better.

As we are very comfortable at our home , morever it will benefit company as well because the cost of AC , building maintenance, electricity all are cut off.

So according me , after pandemic there should be provision of choosing whether you want to work from home or office.

Post-COVID offices will likely look significantly different than office post-COVID. For example, co-working spaces may not survive but research suggests they may have a high return on investment. Official office locations may also change as well, as technology advances.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the way we work and has accelerated the trend towards remote work or work from home (WFH). While it is difficult to predict the future with certainty, it is likely that a hybrid of WFH and on-site work will become the new normal for many companies.

On one hand, remote work has many benefits for both employers and employees. It can reduce commuting time and costs, increase productivity and flexibility, and provide a better work-life balance. Many employees have also reported increased job satisfaction and reduced stress levels while working from home. Employers can save on office space and overhead costs, and can potentially access a wider pool of talent from anywhere in the world.

On the other hand, on-site work provides opportunities for in-person collaboration, social interaction, and a sense of community. It can also be better suited for certain types of work, such as jobs that require specific equipment or in-person customer interactions. Moreover, some people may find it difficult to separate work from home life or may experience feelings of isolation or disconnection while working from home.

Therefore, a hybrid approach that combines the benefits of both remote work and on-site work may be the most effective solution. This could involve a schedule that allows for a certain number of days of WFH and a certain number of days on-site, or a flexible arrangement that allows employees to work from home as needed.
