There are so many people who are addicted to sugar and they crave sweet foods to eat. It isn't so bad for you if you eat naturally sweet foods like fruits. These are good for you and healthy and they do not contain processed sugar which is very bad for your health. You should stay away from candy and foods that contained processed sugar. This can make you gain weight and also leads to diabetes.

Our brains are wired to enjoy things which make us happy says Taylor. Sugar, in particular, releases brain chemicals, like serotonin, that make us feel good This leaves us wanting to experience that good feeling over and over again, day after day.

it is our DNA that determines how sensitive we are to a certain flavor be it sour, bitter, salty or sweet. On the other hand, neuroscientists explain that sugar leads to dopamine release -- an area associated with motivation, novelty, and reward. Thus, we tend to be addicted to the "good" feeling brought about by eating sweet foods.
