The correct one is "respond to them". For example, parents are sensitive when it comes to the feelings of their children but respond to them accordingly.

"Respond to them" is the correct answer. Responding is a dative verb, meaning you do it to someone. You respond to someone, you talk to someone, you ask a question to someone. Therefore, you respond to someone rather than responding them.

Example in context.

"If you have any questions, I will respond to them at the end."

There is a big difference between ( respond them ) and ( respond to them ). Respond to them, and you'll be sure to understand each other better.

"Respond to them" indicates answering or reacting to someone or something, while "respond them" is not grammatically correct and lacks the necessary preposition "to" for proper construction.
