Hi, as some of you might not know every credit Card in Brazil and in many other countries allow users to pay any purchase in installments , interest free most of the times.

I would like to know if there is anything like that in canada. I have also Heard of something called Split it in Canadá, but did not know if its reliable. Any insight?

Thanks

My humble suggestion is to approach the credit card company itself for better guidance.

No, i think you havent understood the question. In Brazil for example whenever you buy with a CC you have the option to divide the purchase in installments...I dont mean having debt, i mean if you guys know if there are CC companies that do that in Canada as well.

Credit card companies allow mulitple approach for the payment of the allotments.

1. Auto debit facilitiy, to get money out of bank account. 2

2. Pay by transfer of another card.

3. Pay by netbanking

4. Pay by the wallet services.

So you have multiple other options depending on the credit card company.

You need to talk to the financial institutions you intend to pay installmentally, come in terms with the amount to be deducted weekly or monthly, majority of countries do have credit facilities and law varies as well, so to understand this you need to make enquiries.

Contact your credit card issuer: You can usually do this by calling the customer service number on the back of your credit card.

Explain your situation: Let the representative know that you would like to pay your credit card balance in installments and explain why you are unable to pay it off in full.

Ask about your options: The representative should be able to tell you what payment plan options are available to you. They may be able to set you up with a plan that allows you to make smaller payments over a longer period of time.

Review the terms of the payment plan: Make sure you understand the terms of the payment plan, including the interest rate, fees, and how long you have to pay off the balance.

Make your payments: Be sure to make your payments on time to avoid late fees and to keep your credit score from being negatively affected

Yes, there are several ways to pay your credit card in installments in Canada. Depending on your credit card issuer, you may be able to set up a payment plan to pay off your balance in installments. You may also be able to use a service like Splitit, which allows you to pay off your credit card balance in installments without incurring interest or fees. Some credit card issuers also offer promotional financing plans that allow you to pay off your balance in equal payments over a set period of time. This option may include interest or fees, so be sure to read the terms and conditions carefully before signing up.

In Canada, you can typically pay your credit card in installments by contacting your credit card provider and setting up a payment plan or balance transfer. Some credit cards may also offer a feature called "installment plans" which allow you to convert large purchases into smaller, more manageable payments. Be sure to review the terms and fees associated with these options before signing up.
