According to me, doubt makes us question our faith, our decision whereas, confusion occur while taking decisions. you can say that these two go along together.
I think that there is no diffrenciation to make because if there is no confusion there is no doubt the both things are connected the results of confusion is doubt.
Doubts is a feeling of not having faith in something, you don't believe at that moment, while confusion is the state at which you are not in a stable mental condition.
