Green plants make their food with the help of sunlight, and in a cave, it is all dark, and no sunlight can enter inside. In such condition green plants are not able to survive.

Caves have dark environments where green plants can never grow here. It is a fact that green plants need sunlight and undergoes the process of photosynthesis to grow abundantly.

Green plants depend upon solar energy to carry out photosynthesis, there are no flowers that can live in caves. Plants are very important to caves, although they do not directly grow in most caves. Mosses, ferns, and liverworts may be growing on the ground at the cave entrance or in the twilight zone.

Green plants need carbon dioxide for making food. It is through the sunlight on the surface plants prepare food. So due to the absence of sunlight on the cave, green plants will not survive on caves.

Green plants require sunlight in order to create their own food through photosynthesis. Without access to sunlight, plants are not able to grow in a cave. Caves are usually dark and filled with air that has very little carbon dioxide, which is an essential ingredient for the photosynthesis process. Additionally, the soil found inside caves is usually not suitable for plant growth due to the lack of nutrients. Without the right environment, essential nutrients and sunlight, green plants cannot thrive in a cave.

All life depends on sunlight, even in the darkest areas of a cave. No green plants grow here because they need light for photosynthesis. On the surface, green plants make food.

One f the most important and essential things that green plants need to grow is sunlight and air and i suspect that a dark cave won't really give it sunlight nor will it give it much air.

Because caves typically lack the necessary light and nutrients for photosynthesis to occur. Plants need sunlight to undergo photosynthesis, which is essential for their growth.

Green plants require sunlight for photosynthesis the process by which they convert light energy into chemical energy.  Since caves lack sunlight plants cannot perform photosynthesis  and thus cannot grow inside caves.
