How should I keep my cats busy ? I tried cat toys and stuff.. but it didn't work. I don't want them to go outside of the house as I think its unsafe. They are two spayed females around 1 years old

Cat likes to play in hidden small places.you can build cat play house with some small cardboard boxes. I have three cats they really like to play in hiding boxes.

Buy her a empty box to play. I have heard that they really like their own place and also a ball of wool I watched in cartoons that cats like to play with those things.

Cats need the consistency of scheduled interactive playtime. They have natural behaviors and to be healthy and happy, they have to be able to express those natural behaviors. Cat toys do that and help meet your cat's mental and emotional needs, keeping them busy and entertaining.

I think you can let them play in the room with some plastic balls in it. Sometimes cuddling them all day long is fine for them to feel secure.

I have cardboard boxes in different parts of the house and they really enjoy going and in out of them, and they use them as scratch boards. I also have a cat tunnel and a cat tower. Same with you, my cats don't like cat toys.

Play them some music so that they can enjoy it. Take them to some other cats . give them a evening walk. Make to do some activities that engage them.

Encourage your cats to play with toys and rotate them  regularly to prevent overfamiliarity and boredom. Use toys that emulate natural hunting sequence e. g locate, hide kill

To keep cats busy, provide toys, scratching posts, and perches, rotate their toys frequently, use interactive feeders/puzzles, play with them daily, and give them a safe outdoor space or window view.

Personality plays a role in how well a cat adjusts to being alone, but all cats need their people – some just need them more than others

There are a number of things you can do to keep your cat busy and entertained. You could try getting them some new toys, setting up a cat tree or other climbing structure, or creating a “catio” ( an enclosed outdoor space for cats) you could also try playing games with your cat, like using a laser pointer or fishing pole toy.
